 Repertoire Workshops 2025

An opportunity to increase your repertoire or take part for the first time. All levels welcome.

30 minute warm up barre followed by repertoire, where all sections will be broken down, modified to suit, with plenty of time to practise steps and connections.

Knee length tulle rehearsal skirts and rehearsal tutus (depending on Repertoire) are available to wear plus headdresses.

Come in usual kit, a warm top for marking steps and your water bottle.

Repertoire enhances class work, strengthens step sequences, improves memory, balance and coordination.  Working as a corps de ballet gives a feeling of unity and sense of performance.

To book your place on any of the workshops please email or message me.

I do hope you can come along for an afternoon of Ballet joy!

Ballet Technique Masterclass
Ballet Basics Masterclass
Venue: Over Norton Hall
Dates: Saturday 22nd November 2pm - 4.15pm
Cost: £24 per Workshop

This workshop focuses on the fundamentals of ballet technique: posture, placement, positions of feet and arms, weight placement, transfer of weight and alignments.

The pace is very slow with simple movements and transitions so that each step can be discussed with time to ask questions.

The level is aimed primarily at beginner ballet but is also for those further forward, who wish to work deeper into their basic technique.

Whilst regular classes are adjusted for all abilities by simplifying or adding more challenge, this is a good opportunity to work solely on the basics without the full structure and choreography that class entails.

Format

Barre work and technique: 1 hour 15 mins

Centre practice: 1 hour 15mins - Strengthening alignments and building confidence to link steps together

Stretching to finish

Come in usual kit, a warm top and your water bottle.
